The ongoing saga between Nigerian rapper Falz and social media influencer

VeryDarkMan (VDM) has escalated significantly. It all started when VDM accused Falz and his father, Femi Falana, of being involved in securing a special VIP prison arrangement for Bobrisky, who had been sentenced to six months in jail for abuse of the Naira note. VDM claimed Bobrisky paid a hefty sum to officials and linked Falz to the situation through audio recordings.

Falz swiftly responded, refuting the allegations and clarifying that Bobrisky did reach out to him, but only to request financial assistance—something Falz denied. Falz has since issued a 24-hour ultimatum demanding a retraction and apology from VDM, threatening legal action if the influencer fails to comply.

The situation continues to unfold, with VDM doubling down, claiming that a conversation with Falz didn’t resolve the matter. Both sides appear prepared for a legal showdown. In the meantime, the EFCC has opened an investigation into the bribery claims against Bobrisky and the Nigerian Correctional Service

It’s a complex and dramatic case that has drawn significant public attention, with many awaiting further developments.
